Part vintage speed-shop spectacle, part charity throwdown, all good vibes. Our field of, ahem, self-propelled novelty racers buzz down the track under their own power while the crowd bids, cheers, and roars. It's cheeky, it's loud, and every dollar drives toward a serious cause. Bring your competitive streak and a sense of humor — leave the kids at home.
For Mom's House
A hand up, not a handout — since 1987
Mom's House of Phoenixville provides free, state-licensed childcare so single, low-income parents can finish school and build a career. They receive zero government funding — every dollar comes from donors and neighbors. That's where race day comes in.
How The Race Runs
Six Races, Four Racers
Six heats across the day, four uniquely-named racers per heat, each one lined up on the track and ready to buzz.
Bid To Back A Racer
Before each heat, racers go up for auction — bidding opens at $10. Back your favorite, then watch it run.
They're Off
Loud music, confetti, the crack of the gong — the racers vibrate their way to the finish line. Winner takes the glory.
The Finale: Slowest Wins
We flip the script for the last race of the day. Dead last across the line takes the crown. Anything can happen — and usually does.
